Polarimeter:- Specially designed polarimeter have a circular scales graduated in degrees is attached near to the analyzer. The movable vernier on the scale enables reading of optical rotation to sixty seconds. Worm and gear combines rough and fine adjustments. They are provided with half wave mica plate which has 3 parts field for easy setting adjustable half shadow angle, short focus telescope with precision lenses. The instrument can be used either with white light or sodium lamp light.
